Cueva del Indio Cave (Cueva del Indio)
Public Park in Las Piedras | Puerto Rico
2018
Puerto Rico is a breathtaking island, completely surrounded by water, and this cliff view was like no other. The water looked so blue and inviting, my natural instinct to jump in has to be discouraged. Besides the view, the breeze and feeling was beyond calming.
Images from the Rocks
- Famous Cueva del Indio Cave, known for it’s distinct gap in water.
- Had to be careful on the rocks with some holes that led straight to the water.
- The breeze and feeling of the water splashing up was great.
- Beautiful water.
- The water, cliff, and sky look amazing and very calming.

Something I really enjoyed about Puerto Rico was how much natural land was left untouched. Being able to leave the city and see the natural landscape as it is was a great reset. The trees, animals, and fresh water I found in the forest was perfect in it’s natural state.
I covered a lot of terrain, exploring the area of lush jungle, to the rivers and little rapids. I recommend a guide be present to show where the best area are.
And what was great to see was the cute 4 legged natives of the island.
Some Sights

- Had to take a refreshing dip. You can see the large jungle surrounding this nice hidden river.
- Chilling checking out the local flora.
- Unwinding after a long day of trekking the jungle.
