Pros of a Wide Curved or Dual Screen Monitor Set Up

If you’re considering getting a dual screen monitor or an ultra-wide monitor, do it.

This is the one I use: Ultra-wide Monitor

I highly recommend doing so, my efficiency has tripled since then. How to choose between the two is really up to preference, but first the benefits of either.

1.Enhanced Productivity

Studies show that overall productivity can increase up to 50%. With more screen you can keep tabs open simultaneously. No more switching back and forth in-between tabs.

2.Less Mistakes

Going back and forth tabs, while trying to remember whatever content you’re using can lead to some hiccups. Even CTRL+C can be messed up not knowing what tab you copied or where it’s going. The time you save not making mistakes it also added to by the time saved not fixing them.

3.More Capabilities

More screen, more insight. Whether it’s watching content, where you get a more immersive experience. Or comparing two product choices, where you can get a more in depth comparison. More screen means more capabilities for you to use whichever way you wish.

The ultra wide monitor I use:

  • Built in USB-C (laptop docking plus!)
  • Multi-client integration
  • Low Blue Light Mode

Ultra-wide Monitor or Dual Screen Monitor?

At the end of the day, this comes down to preference, since both provide the benefits mentioned above.

I opted for an ultra-wide monitor for several reasons:

  • No bezel to separate the content. This can be a pro or con depending on how you use it. If the separate screen allows you to better separate the different windows then dual screen setup may be be better for you.
  • Consistency of one screen. With two screens it can be more complicated to collaborate them both to work seamlessly together. One screen one setup can simplify the compatibility.
  • Less hardware. Two screens means two power plugs, two cables connected to your desktop, another cable to connect the monitors. One screen requires only one of each which means less wires and cleaner set up.

Let me know what you think below, regardless of your setup, the benefits of more screen are definitely there.
